Curriculum
What kind of project will it be?
The hackathon encourages the development of applications in 4 different tracks
1. Web3 for Sustainability:
Ā Ā Ā In this track, participants will explore the intersection of Web3 technologies and sustainability. Web3 represents a new era of the internet that is decentralized, transparent, and community-driven. Participants can focus on building decentralized applications (DApps) or utilizing blockchain technology to address environmental challenges. This could include solutions for carbon offset tracking, supply chain transparency, or decentralized energy grids. The goal is to leverage the power of Web3 to create innovative and sustainable solutions that have a positive impact on the environment.Ā You can choose to create a project in areas like DeFi, NFTs, supply chain management, or any other innovative application that utilizes web3. In the next section, see some project ideas.
2. Finance for Sustainability:
Ā Ā Ā The Finance for Sustainability track encourages participants to develop financial solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future. This could involve creating tools for responsible investing, developing sustainable finance models, or designing platforms that incentivize eco-friendly practices. Participants may explore how fintech, blockchain, or other financial technologies can be harnessed to drive positive environmental and social change. The challenge is to redefine the role of finance in promoting sustainability and finding creative ways to align economic interests with environmental and social responsibility.
3. Logistics for Sustainability:
Ā Ā Ā The Logistics for Sustainability track focuses on optimizing the movement of goods and resources in a way that minimizes environmental impact. Participants can delve into designing efficient and sustainable supply chain solutions, reducing carbon footprints in transportation, or developing smart logistics systems. Leveraging technologies like IoT, AI, or blockchain to enhance transparency and traceability in logistics processes is also encouraged. The aim is to revolutionize the way goods are transported and distributed to make the entire process more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
4. Smart Cities for Sustainability:
Ā Ā Ā In this track, participants will embark on a journey to transform urban landscapes into intelligent and sustainable ecosystems. The challenge is to harness the power of emerging technologies, such as IoT, AI, and data analytics, to create innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency, resilience, and sustainability of cities. Participants may explore topics such as smart energy management, efficient waste disposal, intelligent transportation systems, or digital governance to address the unique challenges faced by urban environments. The goal is to design and implement smart city solutions that improve the quality of life for residents, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future. From optimizing resource utilization to enhancing citizen well-being, participants are encouraged to think holistically about the role of technology in building the cities of tomorrow.
5. Innovating Rise In - Next-Gen Hackathon Platform Solutions:
Ā The Rise In Hackathon Platform serves as a vital tool for connecting bright minds, fostering innovation, and driving competitive programming. As technology advances, so do the expectations and needs of our users. This track aims to address these changing dynamics by integrating new features, improving user interfaces, and ensuring a seamless hackathon experience. You can create solutions aroundĀ User Experience Improvement, Feature Integration, Scalability and Performance, Security Enhancements and Customization Capabilities
Any frontend-backend requirements?
You should develop both frontend and backend components of their project. The frontend should provide a user-friendly interface, while the backend should handle the logic and interaction with the chosen blockchain. You don't need to create a detailed frontend, here the goal is to make the backend testable by frontend which is clear and simple.
Chain and programming language requirement
You are free to choose any chain and programming language for your project. The sky is the limit!
Disqualification
A project may be disqualified for the following reasons:
Failure to adhere to the guidelines and requirements outlined in this document.
Submission after the deadline.
Code not running at all or not functioning as it should be.
Additional notes:
š©āš»You are free to choose any blockchain and programming language for your project.
š¤Collaboration and teamwork are encouraged, but please adhere to the team size limits.
Expectations from winner projects:
Does it solve any real-life problem?
How marketable is the problem solved by the project?Ā
Is it safe, has it been tested?Ā
How is the quality of the smart contract and frontend? Code indentation and writing conventions are important here.
Is the project working without any errors?Ā
How well the project is documented?
Conclusion
We are thrilled to see the innovative projects you will create during this hackathon. Embrace the freedom to choose your chain and programming language, and let your creativity shine. Happy coding, and may the best project win!
