🇹🇷 Turkey: HackStellar Istanbul & Regional Workshops

The highlight of November was the HackStellar Istanbul hackathon. The demand significantly exceeded our expectations, turning a mid-sized event into a major ecosystem gathering.

• Received 350+ applications. 
• While we planned for 60 builders, we scaled to accommodate 107 participants due to high demand. 
• The event resulted in 52 projects submitted by a mix of experienced founders and first-time Stellar developers.
  
  

🏆 Top 3 Winning Projects

🥇 1st Place: Stellar x402 Ecosystem




A complete Stellar implementation of the x402 payment protocol, making HTTP-native micro-payments possible and enabling frictionless, internet-level monetization using XLM.

Why it matters: It directly connects web standards based on HTTP 402 with Stellar, enabling practical and developer-friendly blockchain payments.

🥈 2nd Place: Reset




DeFi yield aggregator built on Stellar, combining advanced yield farming opportunities with comprehensive insurance protection and institutional-grade risk management.

Why it matters: It brings professional-level DeFi infrastructure to Stellar, enabling users to maximize returns while maintaining robust security and risk controls.

🥉 3rd Place: Sublayer



A web3-focused infrastructure that enables you to manage all your subscriptions through a single centralized dashboard, built on Stellar.

Why it matters: It simplifies the complexity of managing multiple web3 subscriptions by providing unified access and control, improving user experience in the decentralized ecosystem.

Nationwide Workshop Series

Across Turkey, the Rise In community took the initiative to host IRL workshops in their own cities - including Bursa, Yozgat, and Zonguldak, Ankara - to prepare local developers for the HackStellar Istanbul hackathon. These community-led sessions resulted in 32 teams producing projects and successfully onboarding to the Stellar network.

🔥 INDIA: Unstoppable Momentum

November Impact (India): 1,800+ Applicants | 490+ Participants | 250+ Projects submitted across all activations

India continues to lead in sheer volume, with 9 high-impact events in a single month, driving record-breaking participation across the subcontinent.

Bhopal Build-A-Thon

A 24-hour hackathon that stood out as a major success, yielding 106 projects from over 200 participants.

Multi-City Bootcamps: From Bangalore (BMS, REVA, BIT) to Kolkata, we hosted intensive 2-day bootcamps focused on onboarding students and professional developers to the Stellar network.

Ecosystem Integration: Participation in major events like GDG Devfest Siliguri allowed us to introduce Stellar to diverse tech communities, resulting in 30 new projects in a single session.

🌏 Southeast Asia: Focus on Vietnam

The expansion into Southeast Asia is moving from initial awareness to consistent building, with a strong focus on localized developer support. 

Vietnam Workshop: 65 builders participated in a technical "Build On Stellar" session, producing 10 project submissions tailored to local use cases.
