Hack the Infinite AlgoHack Bangalore Edition: Where Builders Code the Timeless

Every hackathon is about code, but Hack the Infinite was about more than that. It was about the belief that what we build today can outlast us, that ideas forged in one city can ripple into a global future.

On September 11–12, 2025, The Hub Bangalore Imagine Lobby became the stage for that vision. Hack the Infinite AlgoHack Bangalore Edition, powered by Algorand in partnership with Rise In and built under the larger umbrella of AlgoBharat, was not just a hackathon. It was an invitation to create.

From ancient wisdom to future code, Bangalore has shown why it is more than just a tech capital. It is a city where history inspires tomorrow, where builders gather to turn bold ideas into projects that live forever on-chain.

Hack the Infinite. Code the timeless. What you build here lives forever.

The Journey That Began in Bangalore

Hosting this hackathon in Bangalore was not just a choice; it was the natural next step. Algorand’s growth in India has already been anchored by a strong developer base through AlgoBharat.

But this time it was not only about online connections. It was about bringing that community into the same room. In-person engagement created a different kind of energy: developers sharing late-night ideas, learning from each other, and forming deeper bonds.

The partnership with Rise In carried this vision further and turned the hackathon into more than just a competition. With workshops, mentorship sessions, and community moments woven into the program, Bangalore became the stage for a new kind of builder experience in India.

Hack the Infinite Bangalore was built on the foundation of an existing community, but it also marked a step forward, shaping projects and connections that can endure far beyond the event itself.

What We Did

The schedule was packed, but the energy never slowed:

  • - 200+ registrations with builders joining from across India
  • - 130+ active developers on-site
  • - 45 projects shipped in just 36 hours
  • - Tracks spanning AI x Blockchain, Payments, and Technical Excellence
  • Hands-on workshops from Algorand mentors, including Python smart contract development with Marco Podien and a 1:1 session with Brian Whippo
  • - Mentorship rounds that stretched into the night, guiding teams toward stronger projects
  • - A balance of hacking and community moments, from pickleball to late-night brainstorming sessions

By the end of two days, ideas had turned into prototypes, and prototypes into polished demos ready for the stage.

Winning Projects

The Bangalore edition not only delivers demos. It revealed how ambitious and versatile the Algorand builder community can be. From AI-driven DeFi assistants to SDKs for instant payments and platforms serving social good, the winning projects showed the range of ideas that can grow on Algorand.

✨ These projects proved that Bangalore’s builders are not only capable of rapid execution but also bold in their vision. They showed Algorand as a platform that can power developer tools, payment rails, and solutions that reach into culture and community.

Why It Matters for Algorand

Over one weekend, more than 130 developers engaged directly with Algorand. In just 36 hours, they shipped 45 projects that explored real use cases in AI, payments, and infrastructure.

But the numbers only tell part of the story. The India Algorand community came together in full force, turning what had been a large online network into a true community. Builders spent time side by side, sharing meals, exchanging ideas, and forming connections that will outlast the hackathon.

The Algorand team was present on the ground, giving participants the chance to meet them face to face. Through mentorship and guidance, they helped builders strengthen their projects and brought the protocol closer to the people building on it.

Every part of the experience was made possible by the Rise In team, who facilitated the operations end-to-end. From logistics to mentorship coordination, they created the foundation that allowed developers to focus entirely on building.

The projects that emerged reflected this environment. Many teams explored how emerging technologies like AI can intersect with blockchain, showing what becomes possible when builders are given the right space and support.

Hack the Infinite Bangalore was not just a hackathon. It was proof that Algorand can be the chain where community, technology, and imagination come together.

Hear From Participants

The magic of Hack the Infinite Bangalore was best told by the people who lived it. Their posts showed not only the code they wrote, but the friendships, late-night laughs, and shared pride of building.

Cyber Knight captured the atmosphere of The Hub Bangalore with glowing screens, buzzing tables, and the thrill of coding side by side with so many builders.

Vijaya Lakshmi described the first day as a complete journey, from registration and mentorship to networking and AI explorations, while connecting with brilliant minds across the city.

Sahitya snapped a mirror selfie with her hacker badge, simply writing “let’s hack!!” Her excitement reflected the energy of countless first-timers stepping into their very first blockchain event.

Bhasyam Meenamrutha shared her team’s project Pulse, a unified bill payment and autopay solution, while celebrating the collaboration and innovation she felt all around the room.
