Rise In Islamabad Meetup: A Strong Builder Community in Pakistan

Rise In hosted a community meetup in Islamabad in November 2024 as part of the Core Commit Program. The goal was straightforward: bring together active builders, learners, and contributors from Pakistan who have been engaging with Rise In programs throughout the year.

We received 145 applications and selected 68 participants. The group included developers working with EVM tooling, members who recently completed Rise In quests, and community organizers building local study circles. The high application volume relative to available spots confirmed that Pakistan is one of the most active regions in our global network.

The event focused on hands-on exploration of the Core ecosystem. Participants walked through practical workflows: interacting with Core Chain, reviewing the Core Commit Program structure, and working through technical exercises similar to those highlighted in the Core DAO global meetups. The working sessions made clear that the Islamabad community is not passive—people arrived prepared, shipped code during the event, and provided direct feedback on what they want to build next.

Pakistan continues to be one of our strongest and most reliable communities. The Islamabad meetup showed measurable engagement, technical depth, and an expanding group of contributors who want to build real products. We will continue working with this community and support additional meetups, builder programs, and local initiatives throughout 2025.
