🌏 Expanding into Southeast Asia

In Vietnam, 110+ developers came together in Hanoi for a 2-day bootcamp, one of Stellar’s strongest presences in the region so far.

Just a few days later, Jakarta hosted its first Stellar workshop, with 29 builders producing 25 projects over the weekend.

Both workshops were conducted in local languages, making it easier for new builders to follow, experiment, and take their first steps with Stellar.

🔥 INDIA: Maximum Velocity

In just one month, through multiple high-impact bootcamps in Pune and Raipur, we drove over 100+ new projects in India alone!

We started the month in Pune, hosting a two-day bootcamp at Vishwakarma University, followed by the Buildathon Pune - a full-day hackathon that brought builders together for an intense weekend of coding and collaboration. Later, we moved to Raipur, where we ran back-to-back bootcamps at BIT Durg and IIIT Naya Raipur, introducing Stellar to a new wave of student developers.

Across these activations, more than 250 participants joined and built over 100 projects, many of them exploring payments, DEFI, and real-world use cases on Stellar.

The Buildathon Pune (25–26 October) was the highlight of the month - a 24-hour hackathon with 83 developers and 26 project submissions.

🇹🇷 Turkey: Kicking Off the Workshop Series

After the HackPera Hackathon, which brought together participants from all across Turkey, Stellar workshops are now happening nationwide!

We kicked off the series at Manisa Celal Bayar University, where more than 20 participants built over 10 projects during the session.

Next stops: Ankara, Istanbul, Bursa, and Zonguldak.

💻 Online Builder Challenge

Alongside the in-person events, we launched an online Stellar Challenge in Turkey with a $1,000 prize pool, running until February 2026. Developers can join with full-stack projects and continue building at their own pace. So far, we’ve already seen 100+ applications, and 30 participants who joined the prep workshops have submitted 10+ projects.

As the year winds down and the holiday season approaches, we’re gearing up for the Stellar Bosphorus Hackathon, happening 29–30 November in Istanbul - the city that hosted HackPera and now preparing for its second major Stellar hackathon.
